Setting Up VibeSec for Developers
Note: This capability is currently in Early Access (EA) and is not generally available. To request access, please contact OX technical support.
VibeSec connects your organization’s development environments to OX so that developers can receive AI-driven security guidance directly in their IDE.
Once configured, every developer working with an IDE that supports VibeSec, such as Cursor, can automatically benefit from real-time security checks, fix suggestions, and visibility into how their code aligns with your organization’s security goals.
You can connect your organization’s IDE, such as Cursor, to VibeSec using the following methods.
Connect to VibeSec with OAuth
This is a recommended approach for most users.
This setup connects VibeSec to your developers’ AI coding agents (currently supporting Cursor), enabling OX Mind to operate directly within your development environment.
The authentication method is OAuth, and Cursor rules are used for the deployment.
Using this setup, you can: Connect VibeSec with OAuth using hooks
Connecting to VibeSec with a token
Remains available for environments where OAuth is not supported, such as Linux.
